Habitat for Humanity, Local Chapter Fundraising Event
3rd Annual Tour de' Prairie Lakes Bike Ride

You are invited to join us for our 3rd annual Tour de' Prairie Lakes
bike ride, which is a Habitat for Humanity (Pope County MN Chapter) fundraiser event.
The ride will be
held on Saturday, August 16th with registration from 7:30 – 8:30 AM at
Glenwood City Park (down by the lake across from Lakeside Ballroom). The event is designed for riders of any experience level and families are encouraged to participate.
Route
Riders will have the option between a 20, 40, or 70-mile route travelling through Pope County, Minnesota.
Any of the routes will provide a beautiful tour of Pope County, MN, located in West Central
Minnesota. You will especially enjoy the views of Lake
Minnewaska situated between Glenwood and Starbuck.
Registration
Registration is $25 for an individual or $40 for a family. Event t-shirts are available for $10 if registered before August 1, 2008. Participants may register the morning of the event, but we encourage you to register early so that we can adaquately plan for the number of riders.
Fundraising Optional
As this is a fundraising event for the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, riders are encouraged to gather donations. However, there is no minimum pledge requirement beyond the registration fee.
We
hope to raise $5000 this year that will go towards building a decent
and affordable home in Pope County. To meet this goal we hope to have at least 200
riders participate.
Teams Welcome
Forming a team is a great way to encourage your friends, family and coworkers to participate in either riding or donating. Setting your own team goals can also make it easier for you and others to participate and raise donations.
