Eple Tiden is an Autumn market day celebration held at the Starbuck Depot and sponsored by the Starbuck Depot Society. In Norwegian, "Eple Tiden" means "Apple Time" and the festival's main feature is apples harvested at this time of year but also includes other Fall produce brought in to Starbuck by various vendors. Vendors line up along the Depot boardwalk to sell apples, pumpkins and other garden produce.
The Starbuck Depot Society raises money during the event by selling lunch, which includes pork sandwiches, apple pie and ice cream and lefse. Also on sale are many crafts and souvenirs. festival-goers can also expect to enjoy musical entertainment and various displays and artisans demonstrating their craft.

Schedule of Events for 2007
The Event is an open house celebration sponsored by the Starbuck Depot Society. This year main events are as follows:
* 10:00 A M - Apple Pie Baking Contest Begins
* 10:00 A M - Jackie Johnsrud playing accordion melodies
* 11:15 A M - Awards will be presented to the Glacial Hills Elementary 4th Graders who participated in the Scarcrow making contest
* 11:15 A M - Glacial Hills Elementary 4th Grade singers. Under the direction of Shari Opdahl
* 12:00 P M - Jackie Martin Fiddlers will entertain the crowd
